The KY Ready Corps AmeriCorps program is recruiting asummer member to assist with a state-wide needs assessment for organizations and institutions responding to the COVID-19 crisis. Duties include updating contact lists, drafting surveys, setting up and sending mail merges, compiling survey results and conducting phone or video follow ups. Service is primarily remote, with regular video check-ins. Skills desired: Knowledge of preparedness plans and assessments,excellent communication and writing skills, self-directed, self-starter, attention to detail. Knowledge of G Suite. Benefits include a modest living allowance and education award at end of service. Service can count towards course credit. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings.
