This workshop will focus on the most scientifically backed methods of managing your emotions, provide activities and tools that can help you feel more grounded and in control of your emotional functioning. Free QPR (Question, Persuade and Refer) gatekeeper training for suicide prevention for faculty, staff, and students will be offered via the meeting platform, Zoom.
As a QPR-trained gatekeeper, you will learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to help someone find the help they may need. Help save the life of a friend, colleague, or family member in need.
