Please join us for the first virtual conversation in the series From Postcards to Hashtags: Unpacking the Oppression of Black Lives Through Conversations on Racism, Resistance, and Reconciliation. In this series, speakers will engage the EKU community in conversations on racism, resistance, and reconciliation in order to help the EKU community better understand the complex historical emergence, internationalization, and institutionalization of racism and white supremacy, the past and current efforts at resisting it, and some imaginative ways of addressing the wrongs of the past for a more just world. Affirm is a collaborative group working toward acceptance through education and open discussion toward LGBTQ+ life experiences. This is a virtual therapy group through the EKU Psychology Clinic, is conducted by EKU Clinical Psychology doctoral students, and hosted through Zoom. Leveling Up is a group that provides interpersonal support as participants navigate D&D campaigns together. This is a weekly virtual group provided by the EKU Counseling Center and hosted through a secure video platform.

This group promotes authentic interactions as well as learning from others' experiences. In a time of isolation and loneliness, this group can help create a sense of connection and belonging.
