Affirm is a collaborative group working toward acceptance through education and open discussion toward LGBTQ+ life experiences. EKU Dining was notified that an employee on campus at Chick-fil-A tested positive for COVID-19. Upon learning of this case, we enacted our protocol for notifying individuals who may have come in contact with this person & are asking them to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days, per CDC guidance. Additionally, we are conducting a deep cleaning of & sanitizing the work areas & common spaces where the employees had contact.
As a result, Chick fil a will be temporarily closed during this interim period.
We continue to follow the directives of public health officials & advice of the CDC as part of our effort to mitigate the spread of this Coronavirus & safeguard the health of our employees, clients and customers, & are committed to providing accurate & timely information as we monitor & assess this ever-changing situation.
