The College of Letters, Arts, & Social Sciences (CLASS) is offering a $500 stipend to a graduating student to present a commencement speech at the Fall 2020 Graduation Ceremony. To be eligible, you must have applied for Fall or Winter 2020 graduation within CLASS. Affirm is a collaborative group working toward acceptance through education and open discussion toward LGBTQ+ life experiences. EKU Dining was notified that an employee on campus at Chick-fil-A tested positive for COVID-19. Upon learning of this case, we enacted our protocol for notifying individuals who may have come in contact with this person & are asking them to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days, per CDC guidance. Additionally, we are conducting a deep cleaning of & sanitizing the work areas & common spaces where the employees had contact.
As a result, Chick fil a will be temporarily closed during this interim period.
We continue to follow the directives of public health officials & advice of the CDC as part of our effort to mitigate the spread of this Coronavirus & safeguard the health of our employees, clients and customers, & are committed to providing accurate & timely information as we monitor & assess this ever-changing situation.

Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a workshop on Mindfulness. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings. In this workshop, you will learn tools that can help you practice mindfulness and work towards reducing and preventing stress, anxiety, depression, as well as many other concerns you may be experiencing.

Join the staff of the EKU Counseling Center today for a Workshop on organization and planning. The organization and planning module of the Feel Better Fast series will be aimed to help establish a routine to help with managing your day. We will work to establish a daily schedule to help you plan and prioritize your day. Additionally, we will brainstorm ways to increase your motivation and make it easier to initiate tasks, while hopefully making your day more enjoyable.

A soothing yoga practice that invites you to stretch, ground, and center with restorative poses and gentle movement. All levels of experience are invited to participate.

The EKU VETS Center is now open, and available to all EKU military students, including Veterans, Reserve/Guard, Spouses, and Dependents. EKU Winter is the ideal time to take courses that allow you to catch up or stay caught up, take a challenging course, or enroll in a required course. Registration has begun. Visit this virtual fair to learn about different companies hiring EKU Talent and network with employers seeking part-time, co-op, internship, and full-time positions! Graduate schools will also be participating to connect with students seeking to further their education. Registration is required, but you may register the same day as the event. If you do not register ahead of time, you will likely miss opportunities to meet one-on-one with desired employers or listen in on organizations' group presentations. There is no dress code for this event; however, you want to remember that there will be several opportunities for the employer to see you and you want to make the best impression! It is recommended that you dress to impress!
