Elections are stressful, no matter the outcome. With tensions potentially running high, the Student Government Association will be monitoring the Allen Auditorium for students to come and sit, chip away at homework, listen to music, or to get their mind off the election. Representatives from SGA will be there to make sure everyone is wearing their masks as well as maintaining a judgement-free space for any student to sit and work. Looking for a part-time position in Madison/Fayette Counties in 2021? Interested in community service -- with benefits? Join our KY Ready Corps program! Beginning in January 2021, serve 15-25 hours per week, spring and/or summer, at God's Pantry Food Bank, Catholic Action Center, or at EKU's College of Justice and Safety, in projects that address food insecurity during COVID-19, as well as AmeriCorps recruitment support. Being isolated in quarantine can lead to spending a lot of time on various activities that take your attention away from the present moment. Practicing mindfulness can be a great opportunity to improve your mental health by challenging yourself to be present and aware of your thoughts and feelings.
