What is Active Directory?
Active Directory is a technology from Microsoft that stores information about users, computers, and network resources. ITDS is implementing Active Directory as a replacement for our existing directory system, Novell Netware.
Active Directory Migration
The migration from Novell Directory services to Active Directory involves converting desktop computers, migrating data from Novell servers, and user education. This migration will take several months to complete, and we appreciate your patience as we work to complete it as quickly as possible.
